Saw the different art style quote meant that MMZ looks were still the MMX forms, just looking different to us.

Cuz of that, I saw the black on Copy X as the Command Mission look but MMZ'd.

They already do look rough and intimidating. Toru's classic series artwork noticeably uses way lighter shades, and slightly rounder designs. The artwork I replied with doesn't represent how the MMZ games look. The MMZ artwork is really fitting for the series' gritty tone.
