in 1622 Antwerp born Frans Pourbus II died in Paris. Pourbus worked for many of the highly influential people of his day. In this family portrait of Charles, Prince of Arenberg, his wife Anne and their elder children (c1593), Pourbus added a self-portrait in the background.
