Here's an old one of Blues and "Jazz" his companion.
My head cannon in the 90s was Jazz was Rocks original pet and rush was Blues. Jazz was destroyed and Blues gave him Rush since he had Tango. I still love my Jazz design though. Bonus: Blues W/Jazz adapter.

Protoman in the Megaman RS cartoon doesn't have a shield. He is also not really the same robot prototype Light and Wily created, but rather a revised version of the blueprints from that robot, created by Dr. Wily. Despite this he is still referred to a Rock and Roll's sibling.
