After the generations split, in the mania timeline, the Eggrobos were eventually upgraded into the Hard Boiled heavies. The Eggrobo that Fought Knuckles during his story in 3&K was the one who eventually became Heavy King.

Once in a while I have to remind people that is a thing. A very basal, surprisingly large proboscidean with melon head, sprawled legs, browsing habits and potentially sexual dimorphism. An absolute delight to draw.
