@xeno_toast I don’t think I’ve ever used just airbrush to shade, but I don’t exclusively cel shade. Sometimes I don’t shade at all.

(i flat color it first, use a different layer using multiply and i use the color gray to shade. then i change the shading color to whichever one matches the skintone better)

@jawsum_art I’m still super proud of this piece. I feel like this is where my style started to change and I figured out what/how I want to draw and shade. I see imperfections now, but I still think this is one of my best proportioned pieces
