You can tell Geoff Johns was pulling from the Golden Age Superman comics when he made Supes mess something up for Lex.

I love how this is an excellent compromise with past origins of Superman.

I have seen a lot of negative opinions about WB doing a Superman movie with a black actor. Some I think are reasonable, far too many are outright racist

The funniest, tho, was a guy on a FB group saying that a black Supes film would be “too woke & SJW” for him
