Today is and pictured is the North American river otter. This playful species are excellent swimmers, using their powerful tails and webbed feet to propel them through the water. They eat a variety of food including fish, amphibians, crayfish and event turtles.

Revel seems to do better at things that aren't the Turtles. I recall thinking the same about Andy Kuhn in the early years of the book. His Turtles were BAD, but when they moved him to Mutanimals, those designs suited him much better.
