failures 🤣 Was going for a shark helmet. Final outcome looked like a jacked up whale. Moved to the back burner list 😂 Lost count of how many different sketches I went through before deciding on the final accessories.

Love the process 💗

🌟PISCES - MOSASAURUS🦖
🌟ARIES - CARNOTAURUS🦖
Finally, Mosasaurus, the lizard who really wanted to be a whale. We worked a bit on this one, and I should write about it some time. Carnotaurus finally finds its place in Aries, you were many to be overjoyed with this revelation!

Also, I will forever defend the idea that megalodons were followed around by a cohort of smaller sharks not unlike smaller sharks today are followed by pilot fish. They would save energy by swimming on the larger shark's wake, and have a feast every time it caught a whale. :B

The artist designs on light gray or beige cardstock, giving a precise chromatic value to the background. This influence is clear in the Disney version of Pinocchio, with Monstro the Whale.

Someone asked for a version without Mario, so there it is.
Now it looks like Peach is surprised for getting fat, like she suddenly noticed it now, and not before becoming a damn whale.
How a single detail can change the whole context.

- We dived deeper and deeper and soon found the whale.
And we worked with our teeth on that rope round her tail.
We ripped chewed and nibbled cookie and me,
And before very long the Blue Whale was free.

My illustration of some endangered species in WA state.
From top left: grey wolf; boreal woodland caribou; pygmy rabbit; tufted puffin. Center: blue whale.
The plants are also endangered: left, the Kinkaid’s lupine; center, MacFarlane's four o'clock; right, Gentner's fritillary

Captain of a spaceship. Master martial artist. Fought an army of water beings single-handedly. Telepathically controlled a space whale. Inspiration to people who are picked on for looking different. Friends with Bender the Great.

Let's talk about her more.
