In Runeterra, before he got magically whitewashed, Viego had much darker skin. But Lunar Beasts is a very different setting. So?? How??? I don't know????

It's sick that they changed the artstyle to appeal to a younger audience and whitewashed two poc characters. In the past, a lot of kids could look at the Winx and be like "hey this girl looks like me", but this is a huge step backwards.

Yup, the characters don’t really develop much, the plot is everywhere, the new art style isn’t *bad* but it’s more soft and a bit childlike (like something that would air on Nick Jr) so I really miss the old one. Plus Aisha and Flora get whitewashed

Redesigning characters, starting with Aisha. I'll never forgive how whitewashed she became in later seasons. Before Tiana in 2009, this girl *was* representation for young Black girls who dreamed of being fairy princesses.
