Mario and Wario are the best example of polar opposite from the start. From there, you add up on the "pilot" and "treasure hunter" archetype.

I love that villain archetype that’s like a leader of a nation who’s incredibly nationalistic and technically wants the best for their country, but in achieving that goal they become blinded and evil and the ends don’t justify the means peak villain writing imo
