Am I lazy? Maybe, but shirking labour I'm no good at anyway is my only way to stay productive w/o burnout. And no professional studio & barely any consumer cares how much of a thing is "original effort" so long as it's good & legal. I suck at BGs, QuunPlant sells'em. Win win.

@castlehavven Mostly my painting progress. The bust paintings are all about forms and light, the full body is practice with mixer brushes and the sketchy one is introduction to bgs and fun perspective.

figured i would make one of these too! one interesting takeaway from this was that despite beating myself up for not doing bgs, i actually did a lot of bg work this year (if prop-style stuff like this counts). i hope i can keep drawing more in 2023 in spite of my schedule.
