I still love them, even though it's unlikely I'll ever write the novel the way it's meant to be told. I especially love Paula, lol. But they're all great, and because the book's been around for so long, I've had a long time to get close to them.
It's been ages since I read The Scarlet Letter (and Ive never read it front to back) but the writing here looked familiar. I flipped it and realized it's from Chapter 1 "The Prison-Door" of TSL. I appreciate how the book's first words are accompanied by Nathaniel's line here. (+)
