I've tried to use the half-tone brush for some added details on the red but I'm still lightyears from I never could get the hang of crosshatching and half toning in school...

Your art has evolved from thick blacks to more crosshatching. Was that a conscious decision or just a natural evolution? I noticed toward the end of your Orion run & currently now on Ragnarok there’s a lot of hatching. Was it to help speed things up?

Everything thing I touch is crosshatched. Nothing is safe, nothing is sacred
I think I got it because I really like inking and I just need an excuse to ink more
That, and I like to use desaturated colors and the ear thing which just popped up

God why do I torture my hand with crosshatching it takes SO long. But here's somethign I've wanted to draw again for a while. Hopefully next time I can do something more full body with Nocturne.

My lines used to be so thin! My shading used to be mostly colour, but over time I leaned more towards using heavy line weight and crosshatching. These are from over a year ago
