Wondering out of curiosity; those of you who have played import copies or watched Japanese/import playthroughs/streams of SVS, do you find the upgraded Live 2D animations give more personality and energy to the cutscenes or just weird and distracting?

I don't really like the week 6 dialogue method most mods use nowadays, as I feel like it draaaaags on for way too long so apart from the cutscenes explaining the lore, there will also be dialogue bubbles during the gameplay! ^^

The fight against Gaismagorm was insane.

Just spent 8.5 hours straight animating this for an upcoming YTP. I started with 3 frames from the original cutscenes and just sort of filled in the blanks. His hand looks a bit wonky, but it kinda fits the CD-i style.

And yes, I intentionally left out his crown. You'll see why.
