Day 6: Pangolin tongues are very long and attached to the thorax, not the hyroid bone as in many mammals including humans. They can extend their tongues, which are covered in sticky saliva, up to 40cm! Very handy for capturing insects.

All of the characters in are insects. But we needed something like wild animals so I came up with the idea of mites - little feral bloodthirsty bastards. And if you strap some explosives to them, you can use them for mining. We call them dyna-mites.

When I was thinking about more concepts for the hands in front I remembered there exist birds that use sticks to get insects. So I think I'll go with the concept that it will use the hands to snatch prey that hide in small areas it will not be able to reach with it's pinchers
