the blurred ones i see and usually use look like this- more disruptive and deters others from tracing more effectively 👀 tho it takes more time to do this type of watermark because of the diff layer blending settings ^^;;

As time went on it was almost a blending of the two sides.. Fabian’s overall design was made friendlier, less twisted while still keeping the asymmetry I loved. With the help of my partner I managed to create a new look, and then another one, and then changed my species entirely.

🔍 I can’t shake off all my traditional painting habits so I manually chose all the colours and drew the glass/metal textures; no blending modes, just eyeballing + painting by hand

It depends on the "style" I use, generally for anime style I do the base first and then colour on the same level (since I use a blending brush), then add some details with add/multiply levels. For "realistic" drawings it depends, but for those I prefer doing B&W first
