Christopher Robin
Had wheezles
And sneezles,
They bundled him
Into
His bed.
They gave him what goes
With a cold in the nose,
And some more for a cold
In the head.

There is a depth to Milner's trees that goes beyond naturalism, beyond ecology, beyond perspective and photographic technique, something elusive and unquenchable, somewhere between the vertigo of the sublime and the tenuous intoxication of enchantment

Pooh looked up at the sky, and then, as he heard the whistle, he looked up into the branches of a big oak-tree, and saw a friend of his.
“It’s Christopher Robin,” he said.
“Ah, then you’ll be all right,” said Piglet. “You’ll be safe with him.”~A.A.Milne

"Could a Bear be a Knight?" asked Pooh. "Of course he could!" said Christopher Robin. And he took a stick and touched Pooh on the shoulder, and said, "Rise, Sir Pooh de Bear, most faithful of all my Knights."
Pooh said "Thank you," and went into a dream.

They turned into a little pine-wood, and sat down on the gate which led to it. They were out of the snow now, but it was very cold, and to keep themselves warm they sang Pooh’s song six times, thumping on the gate with sticks at the proper places. ~A.A.Milne

“TO ALL AND SUNRY - NEAR AND FAR -
F. CHRISTMAS IN PARTICULAR.

I want some crackers,
And I want some candy;
I think a box of chocolates
Would come in handy;
And, oh! Father Christmas, if you love me at all,
Bring me a big, red India-rubber ball!” ~A.A.Milne

It's only been like months since the last time I drew them and I already missed them a lot HAHA.

To commemorate chapter 9 of YOI, that chapter is special because from that I began to love them 💙💜

Pooh at Piglet's House...

“I wonder what Piglet is doing," thought Pooh.
"I wish I were there to be doing it, too.”
