Michelangelo is likely who you think of when I say "Sistine Chapel". But the Chapel is much more than just a ceiling. Sandro Botticelli also painted there.

One example is this beautiful fresco on the southern wall entitled "Trials of Moses". (1481-82) 🎨

Here are some paintings by French artist Othon Friesz (6 February 1879 – 10 January 1949). He was a member of the Fauvist movement, a kind of extreme Post-Impressionism, utilizing pure color and abstraction. These works remind me of Cézanne and Matisse.
