I did a little art experiment. I took a doodle of Mettaton I drew, traced it onto black paper and colored with colored pencils. Then, I scanned it into ClipStudio to try to digitally color it the same way I did with the colored pencils.

I only use the tablet for color and grayscale/halftone, crosshatching and everything else is done traditionally. Not pictured, my blue pencils. I use for hand/head angles and references, LOTS of them. Both figures and model kits (like motorcycles, guns, and stuff)

It's done! Oops, James the red panda and Yan the dragon gamed so late into the night, they fell asleep mid-game. In the future I'll definitely do more drawings combining my gel pens, copic markers and colored pencils. I have many coloring tools to try out!
