I can't even begin to describe how much I enjoyed painting this.
So many colors in one bird! Even though iridiscent birds are quite daunting subjects, this painting approach seems to work very well with them. 😊

Il faut laisser l'aquarelle se peindre toute seule. C'est un medium qui demande un certain lâcher prise, car si on est trop dans le contrôle, on fige les choses et la peinture perd vie.
