Touchup of an older piece. I was really averse to using pure blacks at the time, but reintroducing them allows for much better total variation. Some lighting issues remain ,but I didn’t want to mess with the tone of the piece.

Also cleaned up some more distracting sketch lines

another thing i like doing on phone doodles is creating a layer on top of everything, including the lineart, and using this as a "touchup layer", adding extra details, cleaning messy lines, etc... another trick that lets u worry less abt having messy lineart
