Windsor Smith's art is sublime, of course. But I can't stand seeing the chainmail bikini after seeing her wearing more sensible armor than Conan, who by rights should have ALSO been wearing armor that covered his torso, and really both should be fully armored if possible.

The chainmail bikini look so popular in fantasy art is stupid for a lot of reasons, but my main reason for hating it is that the most famous character who wears it, Red Sonja, DIDN'T in her first appearance. This is Red Sonja as drawn by Barry Windsor Smith.
