Real bonkers thought about the YouTube arc: SMG3 could have used the YouTube Remote's power to alter the events to Meggy's Destiny to have SplatSquad lose the final Splatfest while testing it. Someone make a fanfic where that happens so I don't have to.

As Mario competed in the Fall Guys tournament, he tried to make progress in one of the challenges by riding on an Inkling that just happened to be competing in the tournament. Poor Inkling, and this is months after Mario & Splatsquad won Splatfest in Inkopolis.
