Aquarion EVOL, again, is just visually beautiful and gorgeous series and I enjoy its colorful character designs a lot.
I personally liked its setting & storyline more than Sousei's, as well as its large cast of colorful characters. It also has several great, big name seiyuus.

Gundam is interesting visually because usually designers go for soft, round heroes and sharp, frightening villains, but as a toyline the evil mechs are much more often rounded and harmless while the Gundams themselves, being weapons, have the more intimidating visages.
