My Dwarf Cleric of the Grave Emrig and I funny enough have similar beards. And the funny thing is? My dear Lady concepted Emrig out way before I grew my beard, so it is like the DnD character influenced real life, and then the beard curl influenced how Soul looks now.

@HeavenlyTape The combination of attire pattern, hairstyle, and overall coloring I believe helps make Hex stand out amongst characters of similar thematics.

It drives me nuts that the Chao are ancients that evolved because of the environnement of the Earth. The Chao that turned into Chaos didn't just mutated, he returned to its roots in a way and gained a form similar to that of his origins.

@KGalaxysFruity theres a ridiculous amount of prep work that goes into it, i think you always get the best results by tracing for proportions or similar features (bump´s claws) for the initial sketch -> clean up the sketch -> lineart, also SIMPLIFICATION makes it more readable.
