I like how in pain arc, everyone was mainly working in their fields. Sakura in Medical department healing the wounded, Shikamaru helping the Cryptanalysis Team to decipher the code, Ino in the Intel department helping to find Pain's location, Chōji in frontlines to fight, etc.

The blood spurting from Dai’s wound is toned down a bit in the anime. There’s also a trickle more blood from Vearn’s hand wound, while in the anime it looks more like ash (on the plus side, the anime does show his wound healing)
