I can sort of relate. It was hard for me to learn digital, and I’d draw with either a mouse or finger •__•
I eventually found a good program on my tablet. I still my fingers often, but I do have styluses for lineart now. Here’s an earlier piece of mine done with a mouse

I did it for years man and it wasn’t terrible. Eventually I did get a stylus and used that with my phone, but recently I just got a nice 2-1 laptop tablet that I’ll be using now. Still probably gonna do small projects on my phone though.

Since being locked down at home, I knew I had to set goals for myself to feel good about this time. I decided to draw every day.

I'm feeling a bit out of practice & slow, but I've had some success today. Did some experimental stuff in a sketchbook & also started painting on a new board. Then hours later I just decided to pick up my stylus out of the blue & worked a little bit on this lady. Yay!
