So the main thing I don't like about the 2022 concepts I've seen is the rear wing looks absolutely hideous. It's so tall and wonky looking. Such an awkward shape. It looks so odd without endplates. I know the reason is to reduce the out spill of vortices off the rear wing

Not really. For the big characters, yes.

Goku (not UI), 17, Vegeta, Gohan, Krilin and the ones like them they look wonky as hell. (not talking about faces but body proportions)

In fact I think the Kakarot artworks (not model cause they're awful haha) were pretty spot on.

The airbrush color was great for doing that clean shade gradient, but imagine doing that for hundreds of frames!

The prince reveal lost out bc Glenn clearly layout lots of CONTRAST shadows & a low angle...which... did not happen in the final product. Leading to wonky faces
