Did this piece of the newly announced gen 9 starter, Fuecoco, in a swamp of spicy noodles!! Very fitting for a fire type crocodile ~ 🔥
Fuecoco is already my favorite starter for the next gen, so I HAD to do some fan art!

Apparently he is supposed to be a crocodile (Fuecoco) but i don't see how?

He stands bipedally (maybe it's a Postosuchus? Lol) and has what looks like mohawk feathers on the top of his head.

I think this guy looks like a crocodile snake eel, which means he could very well evolve into a -snake-. If he does, then Zodiac theory lives, if he doesn't, then he paves the way for more reptile fire starters. Either way is a win win.

I like this funky little dude, I could definitely see him being a Fire Dragon type, fits the Chinese zodiac motif, and if it's still crocodillian like in the end, would kind of fit the mythological medieval creature the Salamander which are generally portrayed as reptilian
