Translates to "white children", which is made up of fish sperm (cod). Served in nigiri sushi form as a tiny ball of raw shirako on top of a ball of rice wrapped in seaweed topped with cod roe and spring onion.

A multilayered, laminated sweet pastry in the viennoiserie tradition usually with a pastry cream filling and topped with toasted almond flakes. One of my favorites desserts and definitely a buttery indulgence.
