And honestly? it was well worth the push!! I lot of this I could have also done post color, but to make my Chroma life easier I stayed in grayscale for as long as possible!🖤🤍🖤🤍

Here's where things kinda hiccuped for me! I thought I was ready to move on, or rather I knew our last meeting was coming up so I pushed to be done...
but truthfully she wasn't done, and I needed to push the grayscale more. 😤

Seriously rendering like this made it really hard for me to see how she was shaping up, but it helped me restrict my focus to material rendering and balancing the piece!⚖️

on my last week of background(?) concept art course and im still tryna keep up with all the homework 😭🤧 here's some grayscale assignments so far 😳
I decided to do a Value Test for my artwork (making a layer onto top, coloring it black and setting the layer mode to color).
It's really interesting to see the results of this. Especially since I don't really use grayscale much anymore.
