It is not easy to handwave all the design inconsistencies of Baby DK compared to Cranky. different eyes, nose, and hair are not the same as a tongue being a different color.

Not to mention the Crsnky redesign happened prior to Konga 3, and there just wasn't a new 3D model yet.
