People have been working to inject the unused models & test objects found in the source back into working SF ROMs. For my part, my developing model extractor can (with some case-by-case modification) find and dump these models from the modified ROMs to modern obj format.

I can definitely see the similarities between the new ship and the Galaxy 1, esp in the front.

You can see the blocky design, prominent hangar bays, etc. but it also looks alien enough with fins and thrusters. Maybe it’s modified infinity guard with alien tech?
