In the credits for Splatoon 1, you will see depictions of Cap'n Cuttlefish making the Zapfish plushies that replace regular Zapfish. In Splatfest art we see Callie and Marie each have their own plushies. Such an awesome grandpa!

Various pieces of Splatfest art show that not only do Marina's fingertips change colour to match her ink colour, her toes also do the same thing. Unfortunately, this cannot be checked in-game, as her toes cannot be seen.
