Some anime adapt the art style near one to one, like Bleach. Or they enhance the original art style like in Mob Psycho. The style is the same, but more polished. In the case of AoT, the manga's artwork was shit, so the anime straight up improves it, nothing is technically lost.
if i felt too lazy i usually skipped the sketch part and just straight do lineart (but it’s usually for simpler drawing) i don’t have a specific way to render because most of the time i don’t even know what i am doing i just have to make the final piece look decent lol

the atmosphere and feel of this piece just caught my eye straight away, I am a big fan of dark colour palettes, despite my own drawings being so colourful. I love darkness, and this needs to be in my collection.
