12th episode feels like its worst in a lot ways, & I have to ask: was it really necessary?

Working hard to set up a premise that breaks new ground for Gundam, then undoing all that by falling into stereotypes & pitfalls the series is been known for feels like a loss.

Kickass series, absolutely bonkers fights and characters, serious plot, crazy execution. Pacing drags it's feet hard toward the middle of arcs, gets repetitive in spots, but the payoffs are worth the wait. Very entertaining.
