Yesterday’s events have greatly saddened me. Kyoto Animation is by far my favorite company in the industry and to see such a tragic event befall them breaks me heart. Thank you, KyoAni for animating such beautiful works that have helped me get through some of my darkest times.

Kyoukai no Kanats was a bit of a miss for me, but mostly in the source plot. It was okay. But KyoAni still delivered memorable moments and animations.

One of the first anime I watched was Haruhi and for a time it was my absolute favorite anime. KyoAni have always been an inspiration to me, the level of detail, polish and just the overall quality in their animation is something I've never seen from any other studio.

My heart goes out to all those who have been affected by this terrible event.
It hurts to see all of those talented artists of Kyoanimation disappear from this earth, but I hope that Kyoani can rebuild. Be strong.

The arson incident on Thursday took 33 lives and left several more injured. It was devastating seeing a death toll on my favourite anime studio. I truly hope those injured get well quick and that the affected families cope well. Stay strong Kyoani.
