Sometimes do a sketch for fun at the end of the day, and tonight's was Catman/Batman. It's not 3-D, but I felt the need to capture the essence of the original sketch, sans the finger-stache after seeing that clay...model. Enjoy.

i noticed you can't get hikarino's color palette just by hue shifting yamino's model. it's really noticeable in the eyes because there's no way to achieve the same level of saturation/luminosity from his base purple w/o extra editing. there's also some level shifting.

It's not comparing apples and oranges. It's a reasonable comparison. Uekawa still emotes and shows expressions with his style. She thinks his style still renders the characters (Amy in this case) on model and cute. Additionally, his style is the official "default" and the model.
