I have a hard time placing Kirih here. A lot of what I like is represented in her, but I don't see her as a representation of myself. On the other hand, lately the idea of getting art of her getting fucked and just enjoying it is becoming alluring.

Honestly it'd be right in the middle if I had to pick a spot XD

Sony, what are you doing?

You have, at your disposal, Spider-Man 2099, a very popular character that you’re not using in live action. You can build a franchise around this character. You can have Mexican representation with this character. Yet you choose to go with El Muerto.

If Sony's Spiderverse wanted some Latin representation, why not give us someone like Anya Corazon? At least she has a ton of titles under her name, including Araña and, most recently, Spider-Girl.

Distressed or aggressive? Too quiet or polite?

Our actions are viewed differently depending on our race / gender etc.

We need better representation in media and we need academics to understand and embed cultural nuance, not seek to further restrict diagnosis (2/2)
