Here's some behind the scenes look at how Seazar was generated: the original image was a modified artwork of Seaking, and was slowly further modified and ran through img2img until the final product was generated. Below are some of the earlier generations of Seazar:

I could've kept editing this piece and moved further away from the original painting but I really like where it's got to, it's slightly simpler but sweet

@RobGradyVO I dunno, I think that does apply to Digimon too - while there's no hard "gens" in Digimon, you could often tell what *general* era one was from. Look no further than the original Agumon and the 2006 variant

It's a more recent trend for them to invoke the classic style again
