I want a “Rebuild of Dragon Ball” anime. A remake/retelling of the manga’s story, with revisions to the plot, greater focus on supporting characters, and even faster pacing than Kai, spanning from Goku’s childhood all the way to Majin Boo, entirely done in Shintani’s art style.

really the only notable differences are the crown + gems are shiny now and i added a ring of fur (or whatever the proper term is) on the end of the arm
Like, this was a project I think must have been around 2012? I twas originally going to be a period-piece Cthulhu inspired deal, but I do remember toying with a modern-day and Victorian revision at different points!

Just a heads up, I don't think I'll be able to do my post for tomorrow. I got caught up in a paper for college all week and it just got returned for revision so I need to fix it. I won't have time to finish my audio for Sat. I'm so terribly sorry. I'll try and get it out on Sun.

Kasel, Frey, Clause, Roy and Cleo had revisions as well more detailed costumes and Kasel looks more like a king. Clause though still has the og armor for story purposes.
the issue with "read this before the movie" prequels is that, by definition, they can't do much except pre-empt story beats that (probably) didn't need elaboration in the first place. It's all redundant, guaranteed to be overwritten by future films (or even script revisions!)
