wait we're rly getting into lines. I think ema's aa4 lines r subtly less appealing to me bc the aa4 lineart tends 2 be uniformly thin in lighter areas (see apollo) but have the beautiful weight variation aai's sprites consistently have in darker areas (klav's look REALLY good)

trust me, as someone who has like 3 different rendering ways, i still know my art is consistent. for reference, heres how i drew in 2014 / 2017 vs now. different, for sure, but you can certainly pick out the nuances that makes all these drawn by the same person
