The hair modeling and painting took an extra week. I was also beta testing UV paint tools in combination with UV Squares. I'm editing a quick video about it.
Why UV squares for the hair? - Gradients and procedural texturing are easier.

Yes that might be why, also using the pmxe ''blend'' or ''range'' if it touch any other vertex, it still count it and pretty much just reset any weight gradient.. so anyway, Pmxe is pretty bad for rigging.. But yeah, blender always saved my life for rigging lol
