Today I went down the greyscale rabbithole and learned that there IS a difference between all the methods below:
1. Black layer over picture set to 'color' mode
2. Desaturate through color options
3. Setting picture to greyscale

Not wanting to be left /w gigantic paper pads I won't use, I experimented with the Arto papers to see if anything stuck, and I think I figured it out:
-Cold Press works VERY WELL with Copic Markers.
-Hot Press is great with inks and greyscale washes.
