2.) Try to focus on indistinct aspects of your inspiration, like posture, or the shape of their spine/head/limbs. Don't replicate large parts of the original animal's body completely.
This helps your design feel distinct.

i sketch out the key poses with a bright green line, working out where the limbs and head would be positioned!! i always keep a reference of sprites i already did so the anatomy would make more or less sense.

I'd like to join! Technically speaking I only have one Eggman Empire OC, mi main, z-12!

He's not really evil, he's an engineer, he joined the empire because the pay is good and he needs the money :P

(also his limbs are armored, he has normal arms and legs underneath)

3. Favorite OC:

Plitters! Literally a magic filled glass tube on rope limbs and they are very simple and fun for me to draw occasionally!

(shameless tags >:3)

If i win I'd love for you to do either of these!! (Ezra and Cess are brothers but you aren't obligated to draw both!)
Greyson doesn't have the greenspots on his limbs anymore either!

Lachlan: (Sweet! Kion’s roar distracted Tirek, now to escape!) *climbs out of Tirek’s palm and hides somewhere in the cave*

Tirek: *growls* Meddling lion... *heads out to find Kion*

Lachlan: *gets to the captive six* Hey girls!

*they were so happy to see him*

I found a Post about a humanoid cake in Facebook, I assumed that he has no Limbs and no right arm, and it replaced cake limbs so it would look like it is actually part of this guy's body. I was pretty amazed by that thou and decided to male a silly comic.

Most surprisingly we found that Euparkeria had a pillar-erect hip articulation. The supra-acetabular rim projected laterally and covered the femoral head to support the body with the limbs in a columnar arrangement. 4/n

Haru Okumura from Persona 5, she's very sweet and kind but she won’t hesitate to axe a few limbs off if you mess with her lol

Forgot to post the most recent monster the crew has encountered: The Leviathan. One of the biggest Beasts, the Leviathan hovers over cities- before using it's limbs and antenna to scoop up unsuspecting victims in droves.
