i like to draw weird shapes and make characters out of said weird shapes when im in an art slump. in the game i wanna make theres also around 400 dead teenagers so i thought why not incorporate that to make designing these npc/quest characters easier and more interesting.

This one started really organically.
I was feeling stuck with my work so I doodled the guy walking on the tree trunk, then did the rest of the scene around then drew the rest of the story.

As a new take on the characters for a different story, I always liked these re-design. But as the new Dr. SLUMP, it's a little disturbing

The original is so much established in the 70-80s american aesthetic, seeing the characters with a modern japanese look is quite disorienting
