I’m trying to get back into working on this comic idea I had, but realized my painting style wouldn’t fit the story’s themes. So I’m trying a more cartoonish style for the comic. Of course I’ll keep my painting style because I love it.

Almost forgot I have a tradition of sending my OC to the beach in summer. Recently I learned that hippos' skin secretes red substance with the sweat to protect the skin from sun. So, I used this fact for the comic.

Her 🐥 The MC of my Comic. I was pretty insecure to make her tall and muscular, as I feared it would turn off readers but turns out they absolutely love her buff look. I don't think she'd be as beloved if she'd be more dainty🥺
