Hiroshi Yoshida (吉田 博, Yoshida Hiroshi, September 19, 1876 – April 5, 1950) was a 20th-century Japanese painter and woodblock printmaker.
This picture of Agnes Oblige from Bravely Default by Akihiko Yoshida is probably my favorite piece of art ever.

Today I finished the last chapter of #BananaFish. Today I learned Akimi Yoshida based Ash's appearance on River Phoenix. The manga ran from 1985 to 1994. River died in 1993 at the age of 23. Here's my quick sketch of Riv as Ash Lynx coz it's Riv's birthday today (╥_╥) #artph

Interesting to compare these depictions of clouds, a century & three cultures apart ~ John Constable (England, 1822) ■ Charles Curran (US, Fox at Sunset 1930) ■ Hiroshi Yoshida (Japan, View from Mt Komagatake 1928)
