New Vs Old: 1st image, a revision of the 2nd image that I drew years and years ago in 2015 or so. Back when “Feathered T. Rex” discourse was still fresh. For the revision, I combo’d elements of the past and present depictions (retro, 90’s, 2010’s, 2020’s, etc.) into the design.

90年代に Painter がアナログの味を生成し始めて、あと色相をランダムにずらすこういうブラシが出てきたのって2010年代でしょうか。自動生成の系から色や形を描き手が選びとってゆくのはアナログ素材でもありますが、デジタルではその幅がだいぶあるように思われます。
