I think that small changes to the color pallete can really make the design more appealing to the eye
I hate people who edit things to "fix" drawings, But I do not have the intention to "fix" anything here. This is just an example of what could be done.
After +10y seeing her in black&white it was hard for me to see her wear color but eventually I could add some. As for Link; usually one takes a char &changes the name. In my case,after so long I couldnt let go of the name so I kept it and changed the char(personality/bg/race/etc)

Ive been thinking about making outfit changes to some of my OCs to reflect the mob and location they're based on. For example Edmond and Amanda are based on a Blaze and a Wither Skeleton, which are found in Nether Fortresses, and since they "work" there, their coats signify that.
First ref of Kazumi is here! Adopted her from the amazing @cincyon and made some small changes from the base design on the left. So so happy with how it came out and can't wait to put her in stories and art going forward ^^
